One cold night, a rich man met a poor old man on the street and asked him: "Why don't you wear warm clothes?"
The old man replied: "I don't have warm clothes, but I learned living with the ones I have."
The rich man said: "Wait for me here! I will go into my house and bring you some warm clothes.”
The poor old man was so happy and replied that he would wait.
So he did.
The rich man entered his cosy home but forgot about the old man outside.
In the morning he remembered that poor old man and went out to look for him, but found him dead from the cold.
There was only one note left:
"I didn't have warm clothes, but I had the strength to fight the cold because I used to do it. When you promised to help me, I believed you and your promise and the hours passed in anticipation, and so I lost my strength to survive and resist."
The point here is
Not to disappoint people for trusting you! Don't promise anything if you can't keep your promise. It may mean nothing to you, but to someone it may become "his whole world"!
A promise is a promise!
The other way around
It’s your responsibility to believe in your strengths and skills but not in people’s promises similar to the bird sitting on a tree and never afraid of the branch breaking because her trust is not on the branch but on its own wings.
As well as
Dedicating your life to a promise made, turning this promise into a cause and expecting this promise to become a reality may destroy your inner Universe, leaving you lost in the middle of nowhere.
Because
Great expectations can bring you great disappointments!
Don't forget to
Believe in yourself and trust your intuition not people’s directions!
Don’t rush and take it slowly!
Enjoy every stage of your life cycle with your beloved ones!
